A stealthy Seattle startup has raised seed funding from Silicon Valley venture capital firm Greylock and Bellevue, Wash.-based Trilogy. The company describes its technology as a “new system of intelligence” that works with “massive customer datasets,” according to job postings. Mona Akmal, a 12-year Microsoft veteran who was most recently head of product at Seattle startup Amperity, is CEO and co-founder of Falkon AI. Akmal, a former GeekWire Geek of the Week, declined to provide further details about the company when contacted by GeekWire. The CEO recently spoke at a Seattle Startup Week event, sharing tips about launching a company.
